1. Provider and scope
These terms describe use of Zeeshan Software Backup, provided by Zeeshan Software House, with supported Windows accounting installations such as UMER Rice Mills Accounting. Contact: zeeshansoftwarehouse@gmail.com.
By enabling the backup feature, you agree to use it under these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use it for a business, you must be authorized to connect that business's data and Google account. Your existing accounting software licence, activation and separately agreed commercial terms continue to apply.
2. What the feature does
The feature creates encrypted copies of saved accounting records in the Google Drive account you connect. It supports manual backup, scheduled backup while the app is open, storage checks, backup retention and recovery through the native accounting restore process.
It does not merge records across computers, provide continuous replication, or back up unsaved work. An upload is complete only when the software reports that it was uploaded and verified. Internet access, sufficient local and Google storage, a supported software version and working Google authorization are required.
3. Your responsibilities
- Use an account you control and have permission to process the business and personal information included in your records.
- Protect the Windows account, Google account, licence details and recovery key. Keep a separate recovery-key copy that you can reach if the PC fails.
- Check backup status regularly, keep an independent backup where appropriate, and test recovery before relying on it.
- Review the backup selected for restore. Restore replaces the local accounting dataset and requires the main application's confirmation and restart.
- Choose retention settings carefully. Old copies beyond the retention setting can be permanently deleted after a new copy is verified.
- Do not use the feature to access another person's account without authorization or to violate applicable law or Google service terms.
4. Google accounts, storage and charges
You connect your own Google account. The backup connector does not require the provider's Google login, collect payment-card information or ask customers to create a Google Cloud billing account. Storage comes from the quota available in your chosen Google account; this software does not promise a fixed amount of free space or unlimited storage.
Google may apply its own terms, quotas, restrictions or charges for storage you choose to purchase. Your accounting software licence and any agreed support fees are separate. No new software price or subscription is established by these terms.
The current storage-warning policy requires a different, dedicated Google account for new uploads after the original account reaches the warning threshold. Existing local records and recovery from available old backups remain accessible. Backups in different Google accounts remain separate.
5. Recovery and service limits
Successful recovery requires an intact backup, the correct original recovery key, access to the relevant Google account and a compatible, appropriately activated accounting installation. The provider cannot recover an encryption key that was never sent to it, and Google sign-in alone cannot decrypt an archive.
Hardware faults, unavailable networks, expired or revoked Google access, storage limits, damaged files and changes in third-party services can interrupt backup or restore. No uninterrupted service or guaranteed recovery is promised. Encryption reduces exposure of archive contents but does not remove every risk to your device, account or recovery key.
The current connector supports encrypted backup files up to 1 GiB. Contact support if your dataset exceeds the supported size or the application reports a verification error.
6. Data ownership and privacy
You retain your rights in your accounting records. Connecting Google Drive authorizes the app to process those records and the necessary Google data for the functions described in the Privacy Policy. It does not transfer ownership of your records to Zeeshan Software House.
The software and its provider branding remain subject to the applicable software licence. Google Drive and other third-party services are provided by their respective operators; Zeeshan Software House does not represent that Google endorses this software.
7. Stopping use and changes
You may stop using cloud backup, disconnect the account in the application, and revoke access through Google Account settings. Disconnection does not automatically delete cloud archives, local archives or recovery keys. Follow the deletion instructions if you want to remove them.
Software updates may change compatibility or features. Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. No term removes rights or obligations that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. Questions about an existing licence, activation or separately agreed support arrangement should be directed to the provider.
8. Contact and effective date
Effective from 16 October 2026.
