A familiar routine

Connect once.
Keep a recovery copy.

Open Cloud Backup → Google Drive Backup inside your accounting software. Google sign-in happens in your browser; your Google password is never entered into the accounting app.

01

Choose your account

Select Connect Google Drive, sign in to your own account and review the requested permission. The app checks the storage available for your backups.

02

Save your recovery key

Save the key separately from the PC, such as on a secure USB drive. Confirm that you saved it to begin the first backup.

03

Check your backup status

Choose a backup frequency and check the last verified backup time. Automatic backup runs while the software is open; you can also select Back up now.

Clear boundaries

Your Drive stays
in your hands.

The app requests access to create and manage its backup files. It does not request access to your Gmail, contacts or calendars.

  • Connect your own Google account without sharing your password with the software provider.
  • The backup connector transfers encrypted archives directly from your PC to Google Drive.
  • Choose how many cloud copies to keep. Older copies are removed after a new backup is verified.
  • Disconnect in the app or revoke access in your Google Account settings whenever you choose.

Before you connect

A few useful answers.

Do I need to give the provider access to my Google account?

No. You sign in on Google's own browser page and grant access to the backup application. You do not need the provider's Google login, and the provider does not need your Google password or recovery key.

Does connecting require a payment card?

The backup connector does not collect payment details or require a Google Cloud billing account from customers. Backups use the storage available in your Google account. If you choose to buy additional storage from Google, Google's own terms and billing apply. Your accounting software licence is separate.

What happens if my Google storage gets low?

The current app pauses new cloud backups at its storage warning threshold and asks you to connect a different, dedicated Google account. The affected account remains available for recovery. Creating a fresh account is your choice; Google does not provide its creation date to this app. Your local accounting records remain on the PC.

Can I restore on another computer?

Use a supported, normally activated installation, connect the same Google account, and provide the original recovery key. Choose a cloud backup and review the restore confirmation. Restore replaces the local accounting dataset, makes a safety copy through the main application, and requires a restart.

Will it synchronize several computers?

This feature creates backup copies for recovery. It does not merge concurrent changes between computers. Only saved accounting records are included, and scheduled backup runs while the application is open and connected to the internet.

Does Disconnect delete my existing backups?

No. Disconnect stops automatic cloud backup on that PC and removes its saved Google connection. Your recovery key, local copies and existing files in Google Drive remain. See disconnect and deletion instructions for removing access or data.
